Create and delete your professional profile, change and update your account settings, and begin the process of closing your facio.social account.

Create professional profile

As a facio.social user, you have the option of enabling a professional profile in addition to your social profile.

 

Your professional profile is an online résumé and portfolio of your creative career. Unlike your social profile, it can be viewed by people who aren't a facio.social user. 

 

Professional profiles are currently aimed primarily at performers and creative professionals working with the theatre and screen sectors. However, we are working to add support for other creatives and parts of our industry.

Remember, you must also enable your profile (verified account required) before it is visible.

Delete professional profile

If you no longer need your professional profile, you can request to delete it by clicking below. Once we have received your request, we will delete your profile after seven days. Please be aware that this will also delete* any information, credits, skills, awards, recommendations and media you have added to your profile.

Deleting your professional profile will not close your
facio.social account, and you can create a new professional profile at any time. 


If you want to hide your professional profile while updating or making changes to your profile, you may prefer to disable your profile instead. To do this, click here.

*As outlined in our Privacy Notice, deleted credits, skills, awards, recommendations, media and other information is retained on our servers for a short time to protect the integrity of the platform. However, you will not be able to view or restore deleted items.

We have received your request to delete your professional profile. Your profile will be deleted seven days after you made the request.

Appear in directory

The member directory is an online directory of facio.social members looking to connect with other creatives across the platform. Like social profiles, the member directory is only available to facio.social members who are signed in to their account.

Choose whether you appear in the directory using the switch below. Hiding your profile from the member directory does not stop your profile being visible through other features.

Change account type

If you need to change your account type, you can submit a request below. Please include the reason for the change. You must meet the eligibility criteria for the new account type, and we may require further information to verify this.

You are not able to change your account between a personal, organisation and project account.

We use this information to help optimise and improve your experience of the platform. Updating your country of residence does not change your location on your social or professional profiles.

Close your account

If you no longer wish to be a facio.social member, you can begin the process of closing your account by clicking below.

After you have made your request, your account will be deactivated, but remain open for 30 days. During this time, you won't be able to login to your account, but you can reactivate it by emailing
hello@facio.social.

Your account will be permanently closed* 30 days after making your request.

Once closed, you can create a new account (subject to meeting our eligibility criteria), but any data from your old account will be permanently lost. We cannot guarantee availability of your previous username if you later create a new account.
